‘It’ Sequel Will Drop In Theatres In 2019

Days after It became the highest grossing domestic horror film of all time — bringing in a whopping $226 million USD since September 8, the sequel has been given a date.New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. have said the terrifying clown Pennywise will return to screens post-Labor Day 2019.

Reports are that Andy Muschietti will be back in the director’s seat — filming the Losers Club in the present day, 27 years after they thought they had finished off Pennywise. Muschietti said that while the first movie was all about the children and their bonds of friendships, the sequel will focus more on the origins of It. Stay tuned for further details.
